Zetland FM is the community radio station for Redcar and Cleveland, broadcasting 24 hours a day with local news, weather, travel and information - and of course, great music!
We're always looking for people who'd like to be involved with Zetland FM on a voluntary basis. Whatever your area of interest, be it presenting, reporting, production - we'd like to hear from you! Previous experience is not essential, we are keen to hear from people who have a passion for the local area who are keen to be involved in this exciting community project and we will provide training where required.
There are many ways to get involved, and we are looking for people of all ages to come on board and be part of the team.

We broadcast local news bulletins six days a week, and are always on the lookout for journalists and reporters who can help us to keep our listeners in touch with what's happening in the local area.
Want to be involved with Zetland FM but don't fancy being heard on the air? Producers are an invaluable part of the team, arranging interviews, putting together programme features, taking care of studio guests and much more.
Zetland FM has some fantastic radio advertising packages which are available to local businesses. As part of our sales team you'll be visiting clients to tell them all about the benefits of radio advertising, generating vital revenue to keep Zetland FM on the air.
Keeping Zetland FM on the air 24 hours a day is a major technical operation, and we're always on the lookout for people to get involved behind the scenes. Whether it's installing new studio equipment, keeping computer systems up to date, maintaining transmitters or setting up equipment for roadshows and outside broadcasts - get in touch if you'd like to be involved!
These days people interact with radio stations in all sorts of ways - via the web, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more. If you have expertise in web design or social media, or are interested in gaining skills in this area, then get involved!
