A man has been rescued a mile out at sea in a toy dinghy.
He was carried out by the wind and tide on Monday despite attempts to paddle back to shore.
The lifeboat service were launched and found the man drifting towards Redcar wind farm.
He was taken to the beach were a coastguard team were waiting to give him advice on being safe at sea.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Guisborough.
It happened on Saturday at around midnight on North Gate
The victim was speaking to man who ended up punching him in the face and taking the wallet out of his hand.
The man is described as being white, around five foot nine tall, of slim with curly hair and a clean shaven face.
Now police are urging any witnesses to come forward by calling DC Glen Harland on 101.
And police are holding three property marking events in Redcar.
Residents can get a free etching to help keep anything from bicycles to mobile phones out of the hands of criminals.
The first event takes place tomorrow at Rkade skate park between three and five o'clock.
There's another on Friday at Roseberry Square Library and Saturday at Route 1 Coffee House.
