Police have released the name of a motorcyclist who died after a crash in Guisborough at the weekend.

Now the man who died has been identified as 17-year-old Sonny Stephenson from Guisborough.

The fatal collision happened at around half nine on Sunday on Bolckow Street.

Specially trained officers have been appointed to support his family as they come to terms with the tragedy.

A group of men who drove into an Eston bank and stole tens of thousands of pounds are still on the loose.

A few weeks ago a white Ford Kuga drove into the front of Yorkshire Bank and men stole cash boxes before driving off.

The car was thought to be using false number plates and was later found burnt out in South Lackenby.

There the thieves changed into a dark coloured BMW before driving off.

Anyone who witnessed the event or anyone with dash cam footage is asked to call police on 101.

...and Majuba Road car park has been struck by vandalism.

Coatham Ward councillor Neil Baldwin posted pictures online showing the damage yesterday.

Wooden fences have been knocked down, benches have been damaged and life rings have been thrown across the car park.

It's believed to have happened overnight on Monday.
