More than 170 bikers dressed as Santa powered through our area at the weekend.

Bikers from the Boundary 500 motorcycle club took part in their annual 'Santa Run', which got underway in Thornaby at 11.30 on Saturday morning.

The 22-mile ride took them through Stockton and Middlesbrough, before the bikes headed along the Trunk Road into Redcar.

The riders passed the Redcar Beacon, before heading along the Esplanade and High Street and up towards Kirkleatham Hall where the event came to a finish.

Thousands of spectators lined the route of the event, which in recent years has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice in Normanby.
