Police are asking for the publics help to trace some prescription medication which has been lost in Redcar.

A quantity of Lithium, Quetiapine and Carbamazepine was lost on Tuesday somewhere between Luff Way and Norwich Road.

Officers are appealing for anyone who comes across the lost medication to hand it in at any pharmacy or to a police officer or PCSO.

These prescribed drugs could be very dangerous if taken by anyone they weren’t specifically prescribed for.

If you have any information or find the medication, you can contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

A closure order has been made on a property after continuous reports of antisocial behaviour, drug dealing and nuisance.

Cleveland Police and Middlesbrough Council's Selective Landlord Licensing Team worked together to secure the order, which was granted at Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday 2nd December.

Following reports from residents of nuisance, drug dealing and disorder, the closure order was put in place for a period of three months.

The order ensures that the tenant has to leave the property and can no longer cause a nuisance or disorder for other residents living nearby.

The covid vaccination pop-up clinic is back in Grangetown today.

The team will be at the Grangetown United and Community Hub on Derwentwater Road between 9am-2pm.

If you are planning on going along, you should ensure that at least 8 weeks have passed between your first and second jab.

16 and 17 year olds will only be able to get their first dose.

For boosters, you should make sure at least 6 months passed since your second dose.

12-15 year olds can also get a Pfizer vaccine if they have consent from a parent or guardian.

More details about the pop-up vaccination clinics in our area can be found on the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council website.
