Hardy sees positive strides after FA Cup draw
Guisborough Town's boss has given his reaction to Saturday's 1-1 draw in the FA Cup Preliminary Round against Doncaster club Armthorpe Welfare...
By Guisborough Town manager Chris Hardy
This match saw my side make some positive strides to getting towards the levels that are required for our seasons push.
Throughout the whole game there only looked like one winner, 22 efforts on goal to their 3 tells it own story.
A perfectly legitimate goal caulked off by some head scratching officiating, the frame work keeping us at bay were the difference of us not being out of sight.
This being said at 1.0 you always give your opponents a way back into any game and this is exactly what happened, much to everyone's disappointed we now have to travel to Doncaster on Tuesday evening for the reply.
We will be looking hopefully to get a better result than today and set ourselves up for a home tie with local rivals Marske.
