Marske United lost out 3-1 at home to rivals Shildon in the Northern League First Division, on Tuesday night.

Carl Jarrett's men went ahead early on through former Shildon winger Sam Garvie, before an own goal and Ben Wood strike put the Railwaymen ahead just before the break.

Billy Greulich-Smith then sent Gary Forrest's side in 3-1 up at the break. Robert Dean saved a penalty in the second half to avoid a more embarrassing scoreline for the Mount Pleasant club.
