Marske United held Northern League leaders West Auckland in a tight battle on Saturday.

Carl Jarrett's men fell behind early but Danny Brunskill's goal midway through the second half rescued a point for the Seasiders.

They remain fourth but trail leaders West by just three points with two games in hand.

Marske turn their attentions to the North Riding Senior Cup on Wednesday night where they take on Whitby side Fishburn Park.
