A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of a taxi driver in a high-speed crash.

Police are appealing for information after a pedal bike was stolen from a Redcar school.

...and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are urging residents to claim the £200 discretionary Household Support Payment. 

 

A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of a taxi driver in a high-speed crash.

Middlesbrough taxi driver Malik Ameer Abbas died after a late night crash on the A172 at Dixons Bank, on March 29th last year.

Mr Abbas, who was 27, was driving a Volkswagen Passat.

33-year-old Hobson was in a Mercedes C220, when he hit Mr Abbas close to the junctions of Captain Cook's Crescent and Grange Crescent in Marton.

Mr Hobson, who is from Norton in Stockton, was remanded into custody until March 31st, when he will be sentenced.

 

Police are appealing for information after a pedal bike was stolen from a Redcar school.

The red Trek mountain bike was taken from Sacred Heart School between 2.30pm and 3pm last Tuesday, the 31st January.
