Appeal Following Collision on A174
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A174 Parkway at Lackenby on the westbound carriageway on Friday 2nd January.
The collision took place at around 2.45pm and involved a Vauxhall Vectra and a HGV.
An 84-year-old man who was driving the Vauxhall Vectra was taken to James Cook University Hospital suffering from two broken ribs and internal injuries. He is currently described as being in a “critical but stable” condition in hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact PC Daniel Badger on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 000954.
