105FM :: Local Radio for Redcar & Cleveland

Cleveland Fire Support Network (C.F.S.N) was originally set up in June 2007 and has since recruited over 100 volunteers to work in the community alongside Cleveland Fire Brigade.

The C.F.S.N is one of several charities to get a financial boost from Redcar and Cleveland’s YOYO Funding. So what difference has that made and how are the young people benefiting from the network?

Zetland FM’s Julie Donaldson spoke to CEO Heather Whyman and some of the young C.F.S.N volunteers to find out how the YOYO funding is helping them and the wider community.
