Unbeaten Boro Rangers already winners of the North Riding County Cup, look to have a good grip of the Championship Trophy as they lead the table by nine points with ten games remaining following a 3-2 close fought victory at Nunthorpe Athletic, Jamie Bellamy opened the scoring for the leaders after fifteen minutes, Anthony Able made it 1-1 at half time only for Bellamy to regain the Boro Rangers three minutes into the second half, Lewis Colley made it 3-1 before Nigel McGuire made it a final score of 3-2.
Stockton West End are keeping the pressure on the leaders after they increased the gap between themselves and third placed Whitby visitors Fishburn Park who now trail West End by ten points after West End took the lead through leading goal scorer Ben Tuner's 45th of the season on the hour following a goalless first half, Jake Large made it 2-0 with fifteen minutes remaining before Shaun O’Brien made it a final score of 3-0 with ten minutes remaining.
Whinney Banks YCC move up to forth, two points behind Fishburn, but with five games in hand after they won 3-1 at Redcar Newmarket, Jordon Wilson gave the visitors the lead in the 26th minute, Kieron Clark pulled it back to 1-1 in the 67th minute but Lee Mahon regained Whinney Banks lead five minutes later with Marc Dolan securing the victory in the last minute, Thornaby Dubliners bounced back from two defeats with a 4-0 victory over Lingdale, Aaron Scott gave the Dubliners a 4th minute lead, the only goal of the first half, but on the hour Glenn Corkain made it 2-0, Glen Walker made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute with Jaimie Miller making it 4-0 ten minutes later, Thirsk Falcons are also having to play catch up, they are five games behind most teams following their narrow 3-2 victory at Staithes Athletic, Stuart Rose gave the Falcons a 25th minute lead, but Luke Weed made it 1-1 in the 38th minute, Chris Moores gave the Falcons a 2-1 half time lead, a minute into the second half Connor Gazzard pulled it back to 2-2 but an unfortunate own goal in the 65th minute secured the Falcons the victory.
Grangetown Boys Club inflicted a 4-2 defeat on local rivals BEADS, after a goalless first half, Jason Walker gave the Boys Club the lead on the hour, Nathan Stott made it 2-0 seven minutes later with Lee Seed making it 3-0 in the 70th minute, Karl Liley pulled it back to 3-1 five minutes later, but Seed with his second of the game made it 4-1 to the Boys Club before Liley with his second of the match made it a final score of 4-2, Redcar Town had to come from behind to draw 1-1 with St Mary’s College after Steve Hutchinson gave St Mary’s a 23rd minute lead, Michael Mackin made it 1-1 five minutes later at a windswept Redcar, Yarm FC picked up a rare victory with a 4-1 victory at Billingham, Matthew Jones scoring a first half hat trick, Jamie Dunn made it 4-0 just after half time with Michael Graham pulling it back to 4-1 in the 55th minute.
