A man has died after reports of a medical incident at a flat in Dormanstown.

Police and the ambulance service were called to the property in Farndale Square yesterday morning.

The Great North Air Ambulance helicopter was also seen landing on a playing field behind the avenue at around 1pm.

Cleveland Police have confirmed that a man had died in one of the flats but said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

The recent winter weather has caused serious building damage at Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum.

Following the bad weather earlier last week, part of Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum's historic upcast building has suffered significant structural damage caused by the freeze-thaw effect.

At around 5am last Wednesday, the domed roof of the 1910 upcast suffered structural failure.

The museum site will be now remain closed to the public whilst essential safety checks are carried out to ensure the structural integrity of the site.

Marske United's hopes of playing in a Wembley final were dashed at the weekend.

The Seasiders took on Stockton Town on Saturday in the second leg of the FA Vase semi-final.

Marske won the match 2-1, however as Stockton won last week’s first leg 2-0, it meant that they won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

Stockton's victory earns them a meeting with Thatcham Town under the Wembley arch on May 20.
