Cleveland Police are reminding the public that their summer anti-drink and drug drive campaign is continuing, with a number of people arrested so far across both Cleveland and Durham.

Drink and drugs are one of the main contributing factors in many serious collisions.

The campaign is running throughout the World Cup tournament, during which time police officers will be out and about in our area proactively stopping drivers.

Police advice is that if you are planning on having a drink to make sure you have a designated driver or get a taxi home.
