Police are appealing after a three-vehicle collision in Redcar;

...and Cleveland Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Saltburn.

 

Four people had to be taken to hospital with burns and suffering from smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a sheltered living complex in Redcar.

Paramedics treated five patients at the scene and four were taken to hospital as emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to The Dunes on Low Farm Drive at around quarter to five yesterday afternoon.

Fire engines from Middlesbrough, Grangetown, Coulby Newham, Redcar and Stockton attended the blaze and remained at the scene for around two hours.

The condition of the four causalities is not currently known. 

 

Police are appealing after a three-vehicle collision in Redcar.

The incident happened on Redcar Lane just after 11am last Thursday, and involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a blue Landrover Discovery and a blue Skoda Fabia.

A 35-year-old woman, who was the driver of the Skoda Fabia, suffered a fractured sternum and was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.

Any witnesses to the collision or the manner of driving of the vehicles, or anyone who may have dash cam footage, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Cleveland Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Saltburn.

The incident occurred on the footpath between Milton Street and Station Square in Saltburn, in the early hours of Monday 5th December. 

The victim’s arm was broken during the attack which happened sometime between midnight and 00:15hrs on the footpath near to the entrance to Sainsbury’s.  

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
