Two men have been arrested in connection with alleged rape in Redcar;

Cleveland Police are appealing for the publics help to trace a man who was last seen in Redcar yesterday;

...and it's been revealed that almost three and a half million pounds worth of drugs were seized in our area in 2017.

 

Two men have been arrested in connection with alleged rape in Redcar.

A man in his 60s and a 22-year-old have been arrested in connection with an alleged attack on New Year’s Day.

Both men have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

 

Cleveland Police are appealing for the publics help to trace a man who was last seen in Redcar yesterday.

Officers are appealing to trace 30-year-old Dean Nixon who was last seen in the Redcar High Street area at around 10:30am yesterday morning.

Dean was wearing a green parka with fur around the hood, tight tracksuit bottoms, and trainers which were possibly green.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts or anyone who may have seen Dean is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.

 

It's been revealed that almost three and a half million pounds worth of drugs were seized in our area in 2017.

Drugs including cocaine, cannabis, heroin, amphetamine and prescription drugs with a street value of just over three million, four hundred and ninety two thousand pounds were removed from the hands of criminals over the last twelve months.

Cash totalling just under a quarter of a million pounds was also seized.

Weapons including stun guns, firearms, CS gas canisters, knives and a crossbow were seized as part of the searches.
