Five Yorkshire cricketers will travel in this winter's England Performance Squad, with Joe Root joining the full One Day Side ahead of this spring's World Cup.
Adam Lyth and Adam Lees have got their rewards for a dominant opening partnership that helped Yorkshire to title glory, with resurgent spinner Adil Rashid, wicket-keeper/bastsman Jonny Bairstow and pace ace Jack Brooks all included.
However, there is no place in the full side for Gary Ballance alongside team-mate Root.
National selector, James Whitaker, said: “Gary Ballance will I’m sure be disappointed to miss out on this tour he knows he remains a very important part of our plans.
